As per viewer suggestion, showing both carbines side by side in a "moving picture" aka video, vs just animated photo on the table. I wonder if this unit is better than the MCK system ? I was interested in the MCK brace for a Glock, but after researching have found they fall short... One guy I watch tested the Taurus and Glock version and ultimately found they did not increase accuracy and even said if anything his perception was that the MCK had a decline in accuracy...plus videos of other issues with them 🤷♂️
I also have the mck, in fact have even the original Roni too. Let me try to compare them
For now here is the old comparison ruclips.net/video/97ho3V8ZA8M/видео.html
Thanks for the video! Can you record some footage of you shooting it with your thoughts?
Dang! Guns 'n Guitars! That's a place I wanna visit soon! 🎸🤘
You are welcome to stop by, it has some nice and funky people working there. Lakeland FL, West Pawn
I wish they still made these for the Glock so bad.
Looks like there were some negative finding with Glock models... Maybe they will fix and re-release. I went the Recover Tactical 20/20 way myself.
@@PracticalWeapons I was going to go that route too, but I saw many reviews that looking through an optic with the stock is very uncomfortable. Can you confirm?
I added an optic mount and it made huge improvement to the comfort and removed neck bending issue
@@PracticalWeapons thank you sir!
@@Null_Null_Null I am going to have a short video on it this week
The best! Legend of wild west 🔥 and nice music by the way ❤
Thank you, I am actually a fan of country music
Where you buy that mount for the optic? I can’t find one that fits mine.
It came installed from Beretta
They have this plate www.beretta.com/en-us/product/beretta-apx-a1-red-dot-optic-plate-kit--burris--docter-footprint-E03055
Gen 2 has sights out of the box. Big plus. Buy a flip out magnifier mount for your red dot for $30 if you want a red dot, the fold and twist can break alot easier than the fold only.
Who makes the mount for just 30 bucks? Magnifier mount for a red dot... Hmm
@@PracticalWeaponsFeyachi T15 on Amazon. And a few others.
Thank you, I will take a look. Did not see anything that will be a stable mount there, but thing might have changed
@@PracticalWeapons Also check out Otterman Outdoors for the Duel Spare Mag Buttstock
I believe Palmetto has these for $350 rn
They do, but due to this being LeftistTube I cannot mention it
@@PracticalWeapons ahh ok I got ya 🤣
Why u bringing weapons to a rave?
What are you talking about? I don't even know what rave is
TWS for Red Dot and peep sight further back. FAB PDC for magnified optic.
The carson close focus one is decent for long or especially short focus
I got the G19 Gen 4 hqd it for about 5-6 years now. Been debating on getting something different i can setup as an all around carry slash bedside gun but i want something different not another Glock gonna be retiring that to the woman. But just been debating on what to replace it with and this just looks beautiful and for the price and being Beretta just screams quality. So yeah im heavily debating on getting this as my new gun and this exact setup is perfect for what i want to.
Also take a look at cz p10, and Springfield xdm elite. Those are in comparable price range and are nice pistols.
Sound sucks!!
Noted
Stick the thing in your old gun and see if it fits, pretty simple, chump
Red Dots Can Fail, Gen 2 Way better Option Buy a $30 flip mount, best of both worlds. That twist fold feature is more likely to break than the fold only feature that has been around over 20 years! Gen 3 should have came with built in fixed sights. You cannot shoot it accurately without a secondary optics purchase. Gen 2 you can shoot it out of the box. If you offered to trade me a new Gen 3 for my 3 year old Gen 2, I wouldn't hesitate to keep my Gen 2.
That is a valid point. If you want irons, gen gen 2. If you want optics and suppressor, gen 3 and I would go with micro prism, but a red dot. Some companies make models specifically for 9mm
@@PracticalWeapons my Gen 2 is threaded and can run a suppressor? Mine is a 40S&W
@eclectic3618 how is the recoil on 40? I have never shot a 40 out of long barrel
@@PracticalWeapons I have the buffer ring, and the Otterman Outdoors duel Spare Magazine stock upgrade and the mcarbo tube cover so recoil is not bad at all. I use mine for Hogs mostly on the ranch.
@eclectic3618 I have been considering going hunting here, but current 100+ heat is stopping me.. 7.62x39 is my hog caliber, in AR. I need to get a can and night vision on it, when or if finances allow
Woulda been really cool if you showed both on the buffer tube so we had a better idea of fitment
I can do that, let me try recording on the next weekend
how much did ya get the Norinico for? is it steel core?
It is indeed a steel core, price I don't remember right now, not cheap
So is the standard MSR co-witness to irons or lower 1/3? Trying to figure out what i wanna do about fixed or flip up irons in conjuction with the MSR
With the default mount it will be in absolute cowitness. If you buy a higher mount you can make it lower 1/3. Personally I like the absolute co-witness because with the Red Dot down the irons can be set at the same point
Not a single issue and I’ve dumped several of these 40rd ETS mags rapidly.
In which model of scorpion?

@jaylehman5173 thank you. I wonder if newer gen guns work better with these magazines

Awesome, thank you!
LAP - light armor piercing just means it will go through pure polyethelene rifle plate armor and Kevlar. It will NOT go through steel or ceramic armor though. Hence ‘light armor’ piercing
Lap usually means it will penetrate old world war 2 German steel helmet. Almost anything of intermediate caliber can go through soft armor of level 3a and lower
@@PracticalWeapons okay but it will still penetrate rifle armor that’s made from pure UHMWPE with no ceramic.
@user-oy9zy4ds9m as long as it is under level 3 it sure will
@@PracticalWeapons no it will go through “3+” polyethelene armor rated for m193 and .308, 7.62 lead core only. Green tip still penetrates it because of its steel core. UHMWPE armor is good at stopping extra high velocity lead core rifle rounds but is not good at stopping slower rounds that have a steel core.
you are talking about just poly armor, not hybrid, right? I have not seen 3+ from that material, but any armor level 3 rated is supposed to stop M855. Note, not the new M855A1 - that requires RF2 - ie Level 3+ or higher. Of course any Level IV will stop both
Is legal to import an airsoft gun to israel
That is good, though I only use those fo training. Gas or electric models can closely simulate real ones for exercise
That is good!
@@RuBearUSA. No im actually asking but I write it wrong
It seems to require a special import permit in Israel, at least per internet. So they can be imported by specially licenses retailers only.
@@PracticalWeapons in Israel this thing is so hard like there is not any information about airsoft is legal or not or does it have license or something I really love the airsoft but i dont know what i do
As an American born and raised in the south, I love to see this. Safe and educational reaching an audience that might be hard with my southern accent. Looking forward to the safety video. Also you should go ahead and file for a couple suppressors, I've been waiting since April but my friends have gotten approved in less than a week!
I consider myse;f a southerner as well, since my first years in US were spent in Arkansas (I went to Uni of Arkansas) and it is good to near the southern drawl in videos. I am looking into suppressors, need to find the ones I like, and this pistol is likely going to be a host for one.
Thank you! and for us southerners gun safety rules are slightly differently enhanced, due to heat, sun and humidity (I am in Florida after all).
Horrible mags. Jam almost every time
What kind of ammo did you use? I had some success using speer tmj 124 grain
Bought MSR from PSA was ok for a year and then failed. Thiught it was the battery but no dice.
What did sig support say? I have not had to deal with them yet
I was looking for something that had close to the weight of regular rounds and it looks like these will work. Thanks.
Glad to help
It’s probably due to manufacturing date of the ammo. To having a different box the animals probably loaded the same.
I changed my buffer tube. It was a bitch. I did have a wrench but the spring game is a doozy. Better have 4 hands.
I cheated, gave it to a friend that is also a gunsmith
I want the 8 inch barrel. Idk if I’m gen. 1 or 2. Can’t find my paperwork.
You can check on their website using the serial number. It will tell you what generation your gun is and what is required to upgrade
I have the same light on my AA 11.5 upper. I run it on the left side of the pistol. If I’m shooting left handed I reach my right index finger under to activate the left. I usually shoot right handed though
Any issues with heat from the piston?
I like it. Although I tried “Match” 40gr.
Love the accent. Not many gun guys with European accents
Thank you!
Hey i have a Makarov and it's my favorite carry piece :) nice video
What do you use for carry ammo? I my pov that is the limiting factor today, availability and cost of 9x18 ammunition
@@PracticalWeapons i use prvi partizan ppu hollow points :)
@vincentsilva5663 I never got those, still have red army polish rounds
Do not buy this ammunition. It will keyhole like crazy, some buyllets are measuring less than .223/.224 in diameter, it will NOT print a group less than 10inches at 50 yards and it will strike baffles/ end caps on a suppressor. I had this issue and gave 2000 rounds to friends who all had the same issues. For the sake of your wallets do not spend your money on New Republic 5.56 62 grain.
What barrel did you have that caused this issue? I already bought several thousand rounds ... Need to test
@@PracticalWeapons I ran it out of three different BCM barrels, two brand new 18in Noveske barrels and a cheaper 1:9 twist S&W barrel. The 1:9 did the worst. The BCMs had some keyholes and baffle strikes for the one that’s suppressed, even for being only about year old with less than 8000 rds through them. The Noveskes did the best with no key holing but wouldn’t shoot a group better than about 9” at 50yards.
@callsignblaze4388 that is horrible indeed! Let me try it out some low end, I just built unbranded ar set, 223 Wylde and 1/8.
@@PracticalWeapons I hope it works better for you!
@callsignblaze4388 so do I! I have been using this ammo from my short barrels and defense distances, but now I am interested in groups after your comment
Nice!
Does it fit a shield plus?
Doubtful but can test shortly
I have a MSR gathering dust, so I thought I would slap it on a recently purchased Browning Contour if I could find a viable mounting solution. Problem solved, thank you Mate, Cheers!
Sounds great!
Good info sir! ✌️⚔️🇺🇲
What brand of gloves?
These are Oakley's
the factor edge is sharp enough, and the spring strong enough, that one time I dang near clipped off a piece of my fingertip (I needed superglue to close up the wound) when I opened the knife halfway to do something and my thumb slipped off the thumbstud. 10/10 would buy another, it's a great inexpensive knife
I always recommend anyone that likes blades to have a first aid kit near, just in case. Also, there are now blood stopping sprays for minor lacerations, I might make a short video about in the future
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
The reason the ets are having problems is because the s&w have metal mag releases and are meant for metal mags so they won’t fit perfectly
Metal might cause additional wear on the mags, but not fitting is likely due to geometry. I need to try in my new 2.0 gen pistol
What do you think about IMI ammo ?
I have only tried their 77 grain, very nice out of 20 inch barrel, but my max distance at the time was only 200 yards. Still, 5 round holes touching
The good thing is that you do not HAVE to fart around with that striker deactivation ballpoint pen nonsense in order to field strip the weapon. Without racking the slide, just push the round takedown button to the left far enough to rotate the takedown lever on the right side of the weapon down. Done.
Except you have to press the trigger. I think the button is due to either special requirement of carrying decocked or to disassemble with round in the chamber safely. Unloaded pistol does not need that
How well do these stick and have they held up?
So far none of the came off, even wet or overheated (Florida). I have bought more labels since, and used them on metal cases as well , 30 cal. Ones
@@PracticalWeapons thanks so much. Would they stick will to plastic cans?
@kungfupandas1 I use them mostly on MTM and Plano 30 cal size plastic cans with no issue to date. Over 20 cans labeled
Blazer 40 grain LRN are also good to go... My LGS were selling a full brick for $250 during the holidays... I picked one up... 😎 Thanks for sharing n' God bless brother
I don't see them very often recently, so have been buying other buller types. 22 goes quickly
Too flimsy. There is a lot of play in a dust cover so it will NOT hold zero very well if it's not attached properly, like this one from Fab Defence. The Midwest dust cover or TWS Dog Leg (Gen 3 in particular) is one of the best American made and commercially available railed dust covers, because they have at least 3 points of contact to hold its zero.
It kept zero for a red dot and a simple prism sight, I did not try for lpvo or bigger optics for same reasons.
Have you tried Midwest industries railed cover? Or tws gen 3?
Green tip stands for light armor piercing. Just a change in advertisement on the box for exact same round
You mean "LAP" _stands for_ *Light Armor Piercing* round. But, I understood you.
